Outdoor Learning

Choose from July or August sessions, with options to attend Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday.

Children explore Spanish through games, music, storytelling, and hands-on play in small groups, all in the heart of Prospect Park.

Healthy meals provided daily—fruits, water, and balanced plates included.

Where is the program held?

The Spanish Nest Summer Club takes place outdoors in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Exact meeting points are shared after registration.

What are the hours?

¿Cuál es el horario?
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Please be on time for both drop-off and pickup.

What ages do you accept?

We welcome children ages 5–10. All levels of Spanish are welcome!

Is lunch included?

Yes! We serve picnic-style lunches with fruits, juice, and balanced meals.

What happens if it rains?

¿Qué pasa si llueve?
In light rain, we continue under park shelters. On hot days, children may play with water (with permission). In case of severe weather, we will cancel and offer a credit.
En lluvias ligeras seguimos bajo áreas techadas. En días calurosos, los niños pueden jugar con agua (con permiso). En caso de clima severo, se cancelará el día y se ofrecerá un crédito.

Do children need to speak Spanish?

Not at all! We use songs, games, and visual learning to make Spanish fun and accessible for all levels.

Is the program licensed?

No. The Spanish Nest is a private, small-group summer club and is not a licensed childcare or camp facility.
